Mountain Lion
Description:
Imagine having a deadly Mountain Lion about 12 to 15 feet in front of you, with nothing between the two of you except your 80-200mm zoom lens. Although my nerves were more than a little on edge, the glow of the warm morning light made for some wonderful images.
Mountain Lions, also known as Cougars, Pumas or Panthers can be found in a wide variety of habitats throughout the United States. Adult males can grow to more than 8 feet long and can weight between 130 and 150 pounds. Females can be 7 feet long and weigh between 70 and 90 pounds.
