Bryce Canyon is located is Southern Utah, just Northeast of Zion Canyon. Bryce is accessible by car only at the rim. A variety of hiking trails begin at the rim and descend into the canyon.
The unusual looking formations that make up Bryce Canyon are called "hoodoos." The hoodoos are formed by erosion and the expansion of water as it freezes into ice.
